BALTIMORE, Md. (April 12, 2023) ⏤ The Morgan State football team will be hosting its annual Spring Game Saturday (April 15) afternoon.
The intrasquad game, which pits the Bears offense against the defense, is slated for 1 p.m. at Hughes Stadium.
The defense will be the Blue team while the offensive side will be the White team. The format for the game will feature the offense against the defense in scrimmage-type situations.
No admission will be charged for the event.
Morgan State is scheduled to kick off the 2023 campaign on the road against the Richmond Spiders on Sept. 2.
Game Format
• Offense in white, Defense in Blue.
• It will be a 65 play count scrimmage, including punting and field goals
• The ball will start on the 25 to begin the game and afterwards will start where each punt is fair caught.
• White (Offense) scoring is normal
• Blue (Defense) scoring is: 3 points for stops, 4 points for turnovers
• All Special teams (kickoffs, FG and Punts will be on air)

• 1:35 p.m. | 7-on-7/ 1-on-1's (25 plays)

• 2:00 p.m. | Scrimmage (65 plays)
• 2:30 p.m. | Break (30 plays)
