BALTIMORE, Md. (Jan. 15, 2023)--The Morgan State women's indoor track and field team returned to action for the first time in 2023 as it traveled to Lexington, Va. to compete in the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) Invitational (Jan. 13-14).

The Lady Bears had a productive two days with 15 top-10 finishes, including a first-place finish by the 4000 distance medley team and a new school record set in the pole vault.

On Friday, Jan. 14, junior
Ishana Asinor broke Morgan's school record in the pole vault, by setting a personal-best mark with a height of 10 feet-10 inches.
