FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. (Jan 17, 2023) - Morgan State basketball guard Malik Miller has been named HBCU National Player of the Week.
Miller, a senior from Washington, D.C., averaged 24.0 points, 15.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.0 steals per game and shot 55 percent from the field in two wins for the Bears last week. In the Bears' 90-85 victory over South Carolina State, Miller scored 32 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field, made 12-of-14 free throws, grabbed 12 rebounds, had four assists, and three steals.
