NOTE THE QUOTE | COACH KEVIN BROADUS

On the decision to go to the 1-2-2 press that turned a tied game into a 6-point lead:
"Watching the film, we knew they struggled with pressure, and I kept that in my back pocket," the coach said. "I didn't want to show it early and give them time to adjust, so we waited. It ended up being the right moment, and it worked."

"And before you ask the next question — look at the stat line. Marland had 17 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks. That's high-level. Elijah had 11 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds. That's high-level. Alfred scoring like he did is high level, too. But this isn't about one guy. It's a team effort. Everyone is doing the little things that make winning possible."

ALFRED WORRELL JR.
"Coach has done a great job putting us in the right spots and running an offense that lets me adjust and play freely. When you're playing with two great guards like Elijah and Rob, who can get you the ball, it makes my job a lot easier. I'm just letting the game come to me and relying on my teammates. I take my hat off to them — without those guys, none of this happens."

ELIJAH DAVIS
On his play during the latest stretch:

"It really comes down to trust. We trust each other to make plays and get on the ball. Coach trusts me too — he's given me the keys at times to run the offense and read the defense. That trust goes a long way."

"We've been around each other long enough now that we know how each other plays, and I think that's why things are clicking for us during this stretch."
