The college football season is here and Morgan State is set to open their first year under Damon Wilson on Saturday night at Georgia Southern.
With the team's depth chart decided earlier this week, the team also has determined who will be serving as captains for the season.
The four captains named were as follows: linebackers Elijah Williams, safety Kaleb Coleman, offensive lineman Marvin Atuatasi and quarterback Carson Baker.
"The captains were selected by the coaching staff as we were impressed with the leadership that he players had displayed throughout camp," said MSU coach Damon Wilson. "The student-athletes selected are good students and role models for the campus."
Wilson also announced the eight (8) student-athletes that will serve as members of the MSU Football Leadership Team. The members include: Shimano Dendo, Ted Windom, Daniel Casillas, Andre Crawley, Erick Hunter, Lawrence Richardson, Alfonzo Graham and Jayden Wooden.
The Bears will open their season against Georgia Southern on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Paulson Stadium in Statesboro, Georgia.
