Morgan State finishes the season off before MEAC Championship

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 16, 2022) – The Morgan State men's cross country team finished the pre-Championship portion of the season this past weekend. The men's team finished in 10th place.

The men's team finished with a combined time of 2:21:18 and a score of 289 points in the 8k race. The leading runner, again, for the men's team this time around was Davian Gray who finished with a time of 26:52.9.

Jackson Waller placed 60th with a time of 28:06.0, Nasir Wallace (28:20.5) placed 71st , Justin Alston (28:55.5) placed 89th, Devion Bryant (29:03.5) in 92nd , Keon Witherspoon (30:53.6) in 130th , and Tarique Gooden (32:10.2), in 147th place respectively.

Morgan State women's placed 12th overall in the 6k race with a collective time of 2:07:20.

Morgan will take a week- long break before competing in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship which will take place Saturday, October 29 th at 10am. The competition will be hosted by Delaware State University in Smyrna, Del.
