BALTIMORE, Md. (August 28, 2021)-The 2021 Baltimore Invite Volleyball Tournament came to an end Saturday night at Morgan State's Hill Field House.
 
Towson (3-0) closed out the two-day tournament with an unblemished mark, following a 3-0 sweep of Binghamton in the finale. The Tigers went through the weekend without dropping a set in their three matches. Earlier in the day Towson swept Cleveland State.
 
The United States Naval Academy (Navy) also concluded the weekend going undefeated, finishing with a 3-0 record. The Mids won their lone contest on Saturday against host Morgan State, defeating the Lady Bears in three sets. Navy would play a total of 10 sets, with its lone set loss coming against Cleveland State in a 3-1 victory.
 
Due to scheduling, Towson and Navy did not play during the Baltimore Invite to determine who would be the outright tournament champion. They won't have to wait long to duke it out as unbeatens. The two will meet on Sunday (tomorrow) at 2 p.m. in Annapolis, Md., for Navy's home opener.
 
The Vikings of Cleveland State finished the weekend going 1-2. The Vikings dropped their lone contest on Saturday, falling to Towson, 3-0.
 
Binghamton also went 1-2 for the weekend. The Bearcats split their two matches on Saturday, first defeating the host Lady Bears in four sets, before falling to Towson in three.
 
Morgan State (0-4) dropped both contests on Saturday. The Lady Bears lost Saturday's opener to Binghamton (3-1) and then dropped a 3-0 decision to Navy in their final match.
