GREENSBORO, N.C. (April 24, 2021)-Morgan State freshman
Ishana Asinor captured the pole vault title during Saturday's Aggie Classic at Irwin Belk Track on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University. Asinor finished with a height of 9-feet-8 inches to win the Lady Bears' lone title of the day.

Morgan State, which was competing in its final regular season meet, produced six top-five finishes. The meet was also the Lady Bears' third appearance this season and final tune-up at Irwin Belk Track, before the squad returns to the facility for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Track & Field Championship (May 7-8).

Miazziah Rose came in second in the high jump, recording a height of 5-feet-5 inches.
Â
Tia Jackson placed second in the long jump with a leap of 19-3.25, while
Alantra Mines was eighth at 17-3.25.

Rachel Field had a throw of 107-5.00 to place fifth in the javelin.
Â
The Lady Bears also received top-10 performances by
Aylexus Leshay (38-0.00) and Mines (37-1.75), who placed sixth and eighth, respectively, in the triple jump.
Â
Jannah Sharpe came in sixth in the hammer throw, following a mark of 144-8.00.
Jaida West had a throw of 133-6.00 to place eighth. West also placed sixth in the shot put with a toss of 39-2.25.

On the track,
Kimani Davis and
Dejah Tinsley went second and third, respectively in the 400 hurdles. Davis ran a time of 1:06.40, while Tinsley finished in a time of 1:07.30.
