On what this weekend meant for Morgan State, Coach Falbo adds, "This was a great weekend to see all players battle through tough oil and match situations with improved play today. After moving Natalia to the fifth spot and Cheyenne to the fourth spot, both ladies proceeded to fill the next 64 out of 68 frames combined the rest of the day. We saw great moments from all our ladies this weekend and it's thrilling to see such a strong semester that is getting recognized on the national level. These ladies have worked very hard from Day 1 and I couldn't be prouder of them today!"

Morgan State's Ashanti Fernandes, earned All-Tournament team honors, placing fourth overall in a field of 63 competitors, averaging 192 for 5 games bowled.

"Ashanti is a player setting no mental limits on herself this year," said Falbo. "Her performance on Saturday was impressive given the type of transition we faced. I'm thrilled with her contribution and congratulate her on her deserved all-tournament honors."

After a 5-0 Sunday, the Bears powered to a weekend record of 9-1, moving their season mark to an impressive 32-10.

The Lady Bears will be on a holiday break and will next see action in a dual match on January 16, 2022 when Saint Vincent College of Latrobe, Pa. visits AMF Towson Lanes in Baltimore to take on Morgan State in a series of matches in a one day event.
