BALTIMORE, Md. (April 2, 2015)-The Morgan State women's tennis team suffered its first home loss of the season, following a 5-2 non-conference loss to Georgetown on Thursday afternoon at the MSU Tennis Courts.

The Hoyas improved to 9-4 with the win, while Morgan State dropped to 3-12 overall and 3-1 at home.

Morgan State got victories from
Danielle Thompson and
Kayla Price at the No. 2 and No. 3 singles positions, respectively. Thompson defeated Georgetown's Barnard by a score of 7-6, 6-3 and Price earned a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Panarese.

The Lady Bears will host Howard in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference match on Saturday, April 4 at 1 p.m. at the MSU Tennis Courts.
