RADIO: WEAA, 88.9 FM is the flagship station for the Morgan State Bears .... Lamont Germany will call the play-by-play with former Bear coach Kelvin Bridgers in the booth. The game will be broadcast live on 88.9 FM and streamed on WEAA.org.GAME TIMEMorgan State (3-2, 3-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) will attempt to remain unblemished in the conference standings when they play host to the Hampton Pirates (3-3, 2-2) at Hughes Stadium. The game will mark MSU's homecoming. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will be broadcast by WEAA, 88.9FM. The Bears are coming off a 42-3 win against Savannah State, while the Pirates posted a 21-7 homecoming win against Delaware State.
THE SERIES• Morgan State leads the series against Hampton with an overall record of 38-24-2 since 1930.
• The Bears engineered a late drive to escape Hampton with a 38-35 victory during the Pirates' homecoming festivities on Nov. 1, 2014.
• Hampton has won nine of the last 13 meetings, including a six-game stretch from 2003-2008.
• Hampton's last win against Morgan State was on Nov. 17, 2012 in the New York Urban League Classic when the Pirates pulled away with a 27-17 victory.
QUICK HITS• Redshirt senior quarterback
Moses Skillon completed 10-of-23 passes for 134 yards vs. Savannah State, including a 34-yard TD pass to junior
Marcolm Banks. Skillon also added a season-high 104 yards on seven carries, including a pair of TDs (3, 48 yds).
• Starting safety
Peterson Janvier returned a missed FG 100 yards (108 yds) for a TD and posted an interception and five tackles against Savannah State.
• MSU had a conference-best 10 players selected to the 2015 All-MEAC preseason team, including four players who were named to the first team.

Lee Hull hold a 4-1 career record in games played in October.

Lee Hull's Bears were predicted to
finish last in the MEAC's Preseason Order of Finish. However, MSU not only finished with its' first winning record since 2009...but they also captured its first MEAC Title in 35 years and its first Division I FCS Playoff berth.
SCOUTING THE PIRATES• The Pirates finished the 2014 season with an overall mark of 3-9 and a 2-6 MEAC record.
• They returned 58 letterwinners to go along with 15 nine starters from a team that lost three of its last four games.
• The Pirates had eight players selected to the Preseason All-MEAC Team and was tabbed to finish sixth in the MEAC's preseason predicted order of finish.
• Hampton recorded a 21-7 homecoming victory over Delaware State on Saturday. David Watford completed 19-of-29 passes including a TD pass to Rashawn Proctor. Watford also ran for a score. The Pirates' defense held the Hornets to just 61 rushing yards and a total of 256 yards.
• Prior to their win against DSU, the Pirates had a pair of conference losses at Norfolk State (24-14) and home versus N.C. A&T (45-31).
• David Watford, a 6-foot-2, 212 pound quarterback, will enter Hughes Stadium as the MEAC's current leader in passing. The graduate student from Hampton (Va.) has completed 119-of-219 passes for 1,469 yards and 14 TDs, including 10 picks. He's also Hampton's second leading rusher with 202 yards on 55 carries.
• The Bears' ground game is led by Christopher Dukes who has compiled 369 yards (5.3 avg) on 70 carries including 2 TDs.
• The main target in the Pirates' air attack has been standout wideout Twarn Mixson (5-10, 170). The junior leads the MEAC with 32 receptions for 572 yards and six TDs, while junior Rashawn Proctor has 18 catches for 239 yards and three TDs.
• The defense has been led by LB Tyrone Ward (6-3, 235), who ranks No. 2 in the MEAC in tackles (48 tackles), including 4.5 TFLs, a forced fumble and a breakup; while Joshua Thorne (6-2, 200) also has added 39 stops (ranked T-No. 9 in MEAC), 4.5 TFL, a sack, forced fumble, and a breakup.
• The Pirates currently lead the league in pass offense (252.2/g), total offense (388.0/g), and is No. 3 in scoring offense (27.7/g).
BEARS LOOKING TO START 4-0 FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 1979The Bears will look for its fourth win of the season on Saturday versus MEAC foe Hampton.
• The Bears improved to 3-2 with a 42-3 home win against Hampton last Saturday.
• MSU will look for its first 4-0 MEAC start since the 1979 team beat NCCU, UMES, SCSU and DSU.
• The Bears won the MEAC title and finished with a 9-2 record and played in the first round of the Division II playoffs.
• Hull's Bears are looking for its first ever 4-0 start as a Division I member.

BEAR DUO NAMED MEAC POTWMorgan State offensive lineman
Dominique Woods was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Offensive Lineman of the Week, and
Peterson Janvier was selected as the Special Teams Player of the Week, announced by the league Monday. Woods led the Bears in the trenches as he graded out at 96-percent of his blocking assignments in a 42-3 win over Savannah State, while Janvier set the school record in sensational fashion when he caught a 50-yard field goal attempt and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown.
