Home Opener Drip: Morgan State Reveals New Uniforms

BALTIMORE, Md. (Sept. 11, 2026)— Morgan State football has announced its uniform combination for Saturday's home opener against Virginia University of Lynchburg.

The Bears will wear blue helmets, orange jerseys and blue pants when they face the Dragons on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 6 p.m. ET at Hughes Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on the MEAC Network and air on WEAA 88.9 FM.

Morgan State last wore the combination on Nov. 17, 2018, in Norfolk, Va., when the Bears closed out the season with a 44-27 victory over Norfolk State. Quarterback DJ Golatt Jr. accounted for four touchdowns, throwing for three and rushing for another, as Morgan State secured its second consecutive win to close the season.

The Bears will look to make a statement in their return to Hughes Stadium as they welcome Virginia University of Lynchburg for Bear Family/Youth Day.

Morgan State enters the home opener with a 1-1 record after splitting its first two road games against North Carolina A&T and Arizona State.
