NORFOLK, Va. (April 27, 2026)--Morgan State junior pitcher/infielder
Millie Cousins was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday. It's the third weekly honor this season for Cousins, who also received two pitcher of the week awards (March 9 and March 30).

Delaware State's Kristin White was named MEAC Player of the Week, while Norfolk State's Samantha Stevenson was named MEAC Rookie of the Week.

The Sydney, Australia native, helped Morgan State to a 3-1 week after delivering a dominant two-way performance. Cousins batted .666 (10-for-15) with eight RBIs, eight runs scored, three extra-base hits, including a home run.

In the circle, she went 2-0, recorded an ERA of 2.86, throwing seven strikeouts in 14.2 innings pitched.

Morgan State (12-26, 9-12 MEAC), winners of three straight, closes out the 2026 regular season on Tuesday, April 28 when they visit Bowie State in a non-conference doubleheader at BSU Softball Complex in Bowie, Md. at 1 p.m. The games will air live on HBCU Go.
