BALTIMORE, Md. (April 10, 2026)--The Lady Bears will look to get back on track this weekend when they host defending Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) champion and Beltway rival, Howard in a MEAC series this weekend at Lois T. Murray Field.
Â
Morgan State and the Bison will meet in a doubleheader on Saturday, April 11 at 1 p.m. and will close out the series with a single game on Sunday at 12 p.m.
Â
Morgan State enters this weekend's series against Howard, on a three-game losing skid after dropping all three contests last week at Delaware State (April 3-4).
Â
Howard (18-13, 11-1 MEAC), is riding a nine-game winning streak and has won 12 consecutive MEAC series, dating back to the 2024 season. The Bison completed a series sweep on the road of North Carolina Central on Saturday with a 16-5 win in six innings. Howard would total 50 hits, while outscoring the Eagles 38-8 in the three games.
Â
MSU-HU Series Notes: Morgan State holds a 28-26 series lead over Howard dating back to the 2006 season. The Bison have won the last four meetings, following a four-game winning streak by Morgan State. Last season Howard swept Morgan State in Washington, D.C., outscoring the Lady Bears 24-2 in the three games. The two would meet again in the MEAC Softball Championship, where the Bison would defeat Morgan State, 5-1 in the quarterfinal round.
