NORFOLK, Va. (May 10, 2025)--Morgan State graduate pitcher/utility player

Amber Rivas were named to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) All-Tournament Team, following Saturday's title game between top-seeded and eventual champion Howard and six-seed South Carolina State.

This was the second straight all-tournament team honor for Fletcher, who last season was named Most Outstanding Player.
Â
Playing in her final MEAC softball tournament, Fletcher appeared in three games in the circle, making two starts. Fletcher recorded a 1-1 record with two complete games, while pitching a total of 14 innings and tossing eight strikeouts.

As a batter, the Huntingtown, Md. native totaled two hits, including a double and an RBI in the three games. In the tournament opening win over North Carolina Central, Fletcher recorded a hit and a double in the win over the Eagles. She tallied another hit in a loss to Howard.

Rivas started all three tournament games and finished with three hits, including a double, a triple, a walk and two runs scored.

A native of West Hills, Calif., Rivas recorded a double with a run scored in the opening win over North Carolina Central and posted a hit in a loss to Howard. She finished the tournament going 1-for-2 with a triple, a run scored and a walk in an elimination game loss to South Carolina State.
