(April 19, 2025) -- The Morgan State men's tennis team faced a tough challenge as they concluded their regular season, suffering a 6-1 defeat against Hofstra University on the Pride's home courts in Hempstead, New York. The match, preceded by senior and alumni celebrations hosted by Hofstra, saw the Pride capitalize on their home advantage. With this victory, Hofstra wrapped up their regular season with a solid 9-7 record, while the loss brought Morgan's season record to 7-15.
Hofstra clinched the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, leaving the first match unfinished to advance to singles play. The Pride swept singles play, posting wins at No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 spots by Maxim Michaels, Matthew Garcia, Noa Forste-Dinell, Vincent Turina and Kaita Odani.Â
