UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (Feb. 1, 2025)-The Morgan State women's indoor track and field team competed at the Penn State National Open, held at Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track. The Lady Bears would finish the meet with three top-15 performances.

Tia Jackson placed third in the long jump. Jackson recorded a season-best mark of 19-7.50 (5.93m).

Keira Stewart placed 15
th in the long jump with a leap of 17-08.00 (5.38m).

Laniyah Henderson had a jump of 17-02.25 (5.24m) to place 17
th in the long jump.

Makenzie Harris placed 15
th in the 60-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 8.79 seconds. Harris also finished 34
th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.09 seconds and ran a time of 7.89 seconds to place 40
th during the preliminary round of the 60-meter dash.
Next Up
The Lady Bears will travel to Lynchburg, Va. to compete in the Darius Dixon Memorial, hosted by Liberty University (Feb. 14-15).
