NOTE THE QUOTE

"I was not happy with our performance, and it started today in shootaround," said Morgan State head coach Kevin Broadus. "No disrespect to Central Penn, but based on how we've been playing over the last few months, that's not what I saw out there tonight. Our defense was very suspect, our offense was not crisp, and overall, I just wasn't happy with our effort. But we'll take the win and grow from it."

"Our preparation coming into the game wasn't where it needed to be," Rob Lawson added. "We underestimated our opponent and didn't execute our roles the way we should have."

"This guy is coming off the bench for us and he's warming to his role," Broadus said. "Marlon Harris is coming off the bench and playing well. Christian Meeks is our enforcer, so I like what our bench is bringing."
"That's what we're trying to base our team on — toughness and rebounding," said guard Elijah Davis. "To win games, you have to rebound and defend. I'm just trying to do whatever it takes for us to win."

UP NEXT
Morgan State will return to action on Tuesday, November 11, when it hosts the University of Baltimore College inside Hill Field House. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. (EST).
