Student Life
-
What is the best time of year on campus? Right here on the field is probably the best time on campus,to be honest. I love seeing everyone back and excited for football season.
-
What is your major and why did you choose it? I chose health education to have a life after football and to stay connected to the game, either way... if i'm training athletes or coaching, anything like that.
-
If you had to give an incoming student advice, what would it be? Biggest advice would be to be yourself and get acclimated with school and campus. Learn your advisor are and where classes are.

Sports
-
What was it like being the first running back at Fairmont State to surpass 1,000 rushing yards in a season since 2019? You also made a post on Instagram with a quote about that experience — Can you tell me more about it? I act humble, but you can go and check my numbers, I ain't average"- Lil Baby Lyric. I definitely live by that. I'm not really a loud or boastful person, I act humble; I let my play speak for itself. It's amazing to achieve that, and you can definitely go check my numbers for sure!
-
Which team do you most look forward to competing against? Howard and NCCU [North Carolina Central University]. Howard stopped us last year from going to the Celebration Bowl, and it's in my home city. I definitely want to play them and Central because I haven't beaten them. They're supposed to be the big dogs of MEAC.
-
Do you have any pregame superstitions or rituals? I like to play R&B and Gospel music on the bus before we arrive at the stadium. I also need a seat to myself to relax a little bit, and when we get to the stadium it's time to turn up the music with HIp Hop or Rap.
-
What is your favorite part about playing your sport? I would say it is the brotherhood of it. I've created so many bonds with people here that I will say will last a lifetime.
-
How is it like to be one of the four running backs on the team? It keeps me on my toes because anyone can go in and turn it. Keeps us all in a competitive mindset. Go out there and play, have fun, but know in the back of your mind if you're not doing your job that someone can take your spot. It keeps me going.

-
What is your favorite athletic memory? One was in high school, when we played Saint John's in the championship game at the University of Maryland. I believe we were down 6 or 7, and I caught the game-winning pass in the back of the end zone, diving for the ball. The newspaper's shot was crazy, and the crowd went wild. At Morgan, it would be the first touchdown in the Norfolk State game.
-
