BALTIMORE, Md. (July 31, 2024) — The Morgan State Bears are ready to go camping — as in training camp — in advance of the upcoming 2024 football season.
Morgan head coach Damon Wilson announced the dates, times for their 2024 Football Camp Schedule. Preseason camp, which begins on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m., at Hughes Stadium, features 15 practices prior to the first day of class on Monday, August 19.
Following the first day of class, practice shifts to 9:30 a.m. There will be two scrimmages, one on Friday, August 9 and one on Friday, August 16, both at Hughes Stadium. The 2024 preseason camp schedule is subject to change without notice.
All practice sessions will be closed to the public.
The 2024 football season at Hughes Stadium promises to be filled with excitement and anticipation. Six thrilling home games are scheduled to take place, kicking off with a captivating matchup against the Hampton Pirates on Saturday, August 31. This game marks the first time these two teams have faced each other since 2016, adding an extra layer of excitement to the season opener.
