Hall of Fame Inductees
BALTIMORE, Md. — Morgan State University is pleased to announce its 2024 induction class into the Varsity "M" Letterwinners Club Athletic Hall of Fame. This esteemed group of eight (8) individuals and two historic teams will join the ranks of legendary athletes who have left an indelible mark on the university's athletic legacy.
The Varsity "M" Letterwinners Club Athletic Hall of Fame inductees will be enshrined during an awards banquet on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the University Student Center (USC) Ballroom on the campus of Morgan State University.
MSU's Class of 2024 is headlined by a cast of decorated athletes who epitomize Morgan athletic excellence: Ameerah Bello (Track & Field, 1994-98), Todd Bozeman (Men's Basketball, 2006-19), Philip Brown, Jr. (Wrestling, 1977-80), Glenny Moore (Football, 1988-91), Arnold Sampson (Rifle, 1962-66), John Carter (Rifle, 1963-68), Tiffanie Sebree-Shiancoe (Volleyball, 1999-2002), and Mark Sye (Track & Field, 1992-97).
The Hall of Fame Committee has also announced that the 1959-1968 Rifle Teams and the 2008-2010 Men's Basketball Team will be honored with the Team of Distinction Award. This prestigious award recognizes teams that have made significant contributions to their sport and have achieved sustained excellence over a period of years.
The Varsity "M" Letterwinners Club will bestow two additional prestigious awards. Lieutenant General Raymond Scott Dingle, a renowned alumnus and former two-sport athlete, will receive the Civic Award, while Earl Davis, a dedicated supporter of the football program for thirty-nine years, will be honored with the Distinguished Varsity "M" Letterwinners Club Service Award.

The Hall of Fame class will also be recognized at the Morgan State vs. South Carolina State football game on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
The Morgan State University Varsity "M" Letterwinners Club, Athletic Hall of Fame was founded in 1971 to recognize and honor former student-athletes, coaches, and administrators who have made extraordinary contributions to the athletic program at Morgan State University during their tenure at the institution.
