Terine Lambert each captured gold on Tuesday afternoon, as the Morgan State women's track and field team concluded the three-day Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships with a total of 66.5 points to place third at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

Graduate student
Johnelle Johnson was named MEAC Outstanding Field Athlete after earning a silver and bronze medal and scoring a combined 14 points.
Â
Howard captured its third straight conference title with 204 points, while Norfolk State finished second with 188 points. Delaware State took fourth with 61.5 points, South Carolina State (45) and Coppin State (40) placed fifth and sixth, respectively. North Carolina Central (27/7th) and Maryland Eastern Shore (24/8
th), rounded out the scoring.

The Lady Bears entered Championship Tuesday in a tie for third place with Delaware State with 23.5 points after six scored events. Morgan State had nine individuals score points, one school record, five personal best marks and one season best mark on the final day of competition.

A native of Lansdale, Pa., Asinor claimed gold in the pole vault, by setting both a personal and school record with a mark of 3.50 meters, breaking the mark of 3.35 meters, which she broke a year ago and matched during this year's HBCU Showcase.

Lambert, a native of St. Catherine, Jamaica also captured gold, winning the shot put with a toss of 13.81 meters.
Johnelle Johnson earned silver with a season best throw of 13.33 meters.

Gabrielle Jefferies set a personal record in the 400-meter dash, finishing fourth in a time of 56.34 seconds.
Crystal Coke placed fifth in the 3000-meter run in a time of 10:50.30 to record a personal record.

Abigail Fisher and
Jessica Lamborn each recorded personal records in the mile run. Fisher ran a time of 5:19.11 to place seventh, while Lamborn finished eighth in a time of 5:26.62.

Laniyah Henderson and Hemetii Apet, each jumped 11.52 meters in the triple jump. Henderson was awarded eighth place and Apet placed ninth.

The Lady Bears concluded the day with 4X400 meter relay. The Lady Bears team of
Victoria Francis, Gabrielle Jefferies, Hemetii Apet and
Laniyah Henderson ran 3:55.27 to place seventh.

Monday, the Lady Bears' Johnell Johnson placed third in the weight throw with a toss of 18.05 meters.
Terine Lambert (15.01m) came in seventh and
Brylan Carter (14.20m) was eighth.

Morgan's 4000-meter distance medley team of Fisher, Francis, Lamborn and Coke finished in a time of 12:47.66 to place fourth.

Tia Jackson finished in a tie for fifth in the high jump, following a leap of 1.57 meters.

Denisha McLaurin ran a time of 9.04 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles to finish seventh.
Â
Gabrielle Jefferies placed seventh in the preliminaries of the 400-meter dash in a time of 56.33 seconds to advance to Tuesday's finals.

On Sunday, the Lady Bears began the championships with a sixth-place finish from
Crystal Coke in the 5000-meter run. Coke crossed the line in a time of 19:40.56.
Tia Jackson added to Morgan State's Day 1 total of six points with a seventh-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 5.53 meters.
Laniyah Henderson came in eighth also with a jump of 5.53 meters. Â
