Rachal Named to MEAC All-Tournament Team

BALTIMORE, Md. (May 1, 2023) — After securing a win at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament, sophomore Niles Rachal was named to the All-Tournament Team, the conference announced Saturday.

Rachal logged a 6-3, 6-0 over Oliver Saarinen at the No. 2 singles slot during Friday's semifinal matchup against No. 3 seeded North Carolina Central.

Rachal, an All-MEAC First Team selection, was Morgan's second singles win on Friday, as the Bears fell to the Eagles by a final score of 4-2 at the Cary Tennis Center.

The Bears concluded the 2023 season with a 6-12-1 overall record.
