Thomas Recognized as Top Sixth Man in MEAC

Web site hoopshd.com hails Will Thomas as Sixth Man of Year amongst MEAC schools

BALTIMORE, Md.  – Morgan State redshirt sophomore forward Will Thomas has been named the top sixth man in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference by the web site HoopsHD.com.
 
Thomas made quite an impact off the bench for the Bears this season. He finished the season as the Bears' third leading scorer averaging 8.9 points with 3.9 rebounds per contest in 21.2 minutes per game. The Baltimore product shot 43.4 percent (105-242) from the field, 34.0 percent (16-47) from beyond the arc and 78.6 percent (33-42) from the free throw line.
 
Thomas started in 8 of 29 games and scored 20 or more points five times, including a career-high 27 points (11-22) with 11 rebounds in a win versus Norfolk State on Jan. 23.
