NOTE THE QUOTE

HEAD COACH KEVIN BROADUS ON THE WIN

"I didn't think we executed well today. I thought guys were playing to get numbers because of the lesser opponent. In the second half, we started playing team basketball, spreading the ball around, and we made shots and looked pretty good."

"Every possession counts. That's something we have to address as coaches, and I'm not concerned about it because that's our responsibility."

"[John] Awoke has to be more aggressive. He can score the ball, lead a team, and really shoot it. We've got to get him going and help him understand that sometimes he's too unselfish. But he looked good."

"I tried to give some of the guys who are going to play minutes a chance to get a feel out there, but I don't think they were locked in today."

UP NEXT
Morgan State will return to action Saturday, Nov. 7, when the Bears travel to face the Niagara Purple Eagles in Niagara Falls, N.Y. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
