Jackson Named MEAC Field Athlete Of The Week

NORFOLK, Va. (Feb. 8, 2023)--Morgan State junior Tia Jackson was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Field Athlete of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, the conference office announced on Wednesday.
 
Howard junior Darci Khan was selected as Women's Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Jackson won the women's long jump this past weekend at the Sykes & Sabock Invitational, hosted by Penn State University. A native of Bristol, United Kingdom, Jackson broke the school record with a personal-best leap of 19 feet, 10.75 inches (6.06 meters), which is the best mark in the conference this season.
