Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. (Feb. 24, 2023)--The Morgan State Lady Bears tennis team picked up its first win of the season, following a 7-0 non-conference defeat of Division II the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) on Friday night at Coppermine Bare Hills.
The Lady Bears improved to 1-4 on the season, while UDC fell to 6-4.
Morgan State earned the doubles point by winning two of the three matches and then claimed victory over the Firebirds in all six singles contests.
Next up for Morgan State will be a trip to Morgantown, W.Va. tomorrow to face West Virginia in a non-conference matchup on Saturday afternoon at the Summit Tennis Academy.
