WASHINGTON, D.C. (Nov. 3, 2023)--Senior Jourdan Page had a match-high eight kills, but it wasn't enough, as the Bears fell on the road to Beltway rival Howard, 3-0 () in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) match at Burr Gymnasium.  
 
The loss was the seventh straight to Howard, as the Bears fell to 7-19 overall, 2-9 in the MEAC. Howard improved to 12-13, 9-3 in the MEAC.
 
Freshman Jada Williams hit .667 with four kills on six attempts and no errors and tallied a match-high four blocks. Erin Carpenter had 11 assists and five digs, both team highs for Morgan.
 
The Bison were led by Jennifer Bolden, who finished with a team-high seven kills. Leah Reeves collected a match-high 14 assists and Rya McKinnon tallied 10 kills.  
 
The Bears will close out the home schedule on Sunday, Nov. 5, when they host Norfolk State at 1 p.m. at Hill Field House. The contest will also mark Senior Day at Morgan State, as it will be the final home contest for seniors Makila Billingsley, Londyn Coles, Gabriela Hiciano, Justyus Jackson, Jourdan Page and Alyssa Sampson.
