Richardson Named to Bluebloods 2022 Preseason All-MEAC Team

BALTIMORE, Md. (June 30, 2022) – Morgan State junior linebacker Lawrence Richardson was recognized on The Bluebloods Preseason All-MEAC Team.   
 
Richardson enters his junior season with the Bears and will provide veteran leadership under the direction of new head coach Damon Wilson. The Philadelphia product led the team ranked fifth in the league in tackles averaging 6.8 per game and totaled 68 last season (40 solo, 28 assisted). He also finished with 4.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and a sack.
 
The 26-player MEAC All-American team has a representative from all 6 programs in the conference. The defending MEAC champions South Carolina State leads the conference with 7 All-American selections. Howard has the 2nd most selections with 6 All-American selections.
