NORFOLK, Va. (Feb. 15, 2021)-Morgan State senior
Tylar Roberson was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Volleyball Player of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, the conference office announced today.

This is the second MEAC Player of the Week honor for Roberson, who also received the award on Jan. 25.

Coppin State's Chudear Tut was named MEAC Rookie of the Week, while Coppin State junior Kareemah Hopkins and North Carolina A&T State senior Edie Brewer shared MEAC Setter of the Week honors and North Carolina A&T State junior Shaylynn Hall was named MEAC Defensive Specialist of the Week.

Roberson led the Lady Bears (2-1, 1-1 MEAC) in their sweep of defending MEAC champion Howard in the MEAC opener (2/12). The Elkhart, Ind. native finished with a match-high 17 kills and added nine digs, falling shy of her second double-double of the season. Roberson hit .342 for the match with just four errors in 38 total attacks and added a service ace.
