Rawal Named MEAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

NORFOLK, Va. (Jan. 22, 2020) — Morgan State senior Nihit Rawal was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Rawal helped Morgan State open the season with a 4-1 win over Saint Francis (Pa.). He won his doubles match with Sebastian Lopez, 6-3 over Andrew Teixeira and Derek Roehner, before he took his No. 3 singles match 6-2, 6-3 over Teixeira.

Morgan State returns to the court in a couple weeks at NJIT (Feb. 1) and Army (Feb. 2).
