NORFOLK, Va. (Sept. 23, 2019)-Morgan State senior
Roi Wallace was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Setter of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday. It is the third MEAC weekly honor this season for Wallace, who garnered back-to-back setter of the week accolades (Sept. 3 and Sept. 9) to start the season.

North Carolina A&T State's Edie Brewer was named MEAC Player of the Week, while teammates Addy Warfield and Andrea Laboy-Rivera were named MEAC Rookie and MEAC Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.

Wallace averaged 9.92 assists per set over the weekend to help Morgan State a 1-2 record in the Hoya Invitational, hosted by Georgetown. A native of San Dimas, Calif., Wallace tallied 129 assists to go with 19 digs, four service aces and two kills in three matches.

The 5-foot-9 Wallace began the weekend recording 45 assists, eight digs and a kill against the host Hoyas (9/20). She added 29 assists, six digs, two service aces and a kill against Florida International to close out the opening day. Wallace then finished out the tournament with 55 assists, five digs, two aces and a block in a five-set win over Binghamton (9/21), as the Lady Bears ended their six-match losing slide.
