BALTIMORE, Md. (March 2, 2019)-The second annual Morgan State Softball Tournament has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
 
With the cancelation of the MSU Tournament, Morgan State's new home opening date will now be against Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Southern Division foe, South Carolina State, when the Lady Bears host the Lady Bulldogs in a doubleheader on Wednesday, March 13 at 1 p.m. at Lois T. Murray Field.
 
The Lady Bears will return to action next Friday, March 8, ironically against South Carolina State at 10 a.m. in the opener of the Hampton Tournament (March 8-10). Neither of the meetings against S.C. State will not count towards the MEAC standings.
