49er Classic Results

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 17, 2019)-The Morgan State women's track and field team began the outdoor season competing at the Charlotte 49er Classic over the weekend at Irwin Belk Track & Field Center on the campus of the University of Charlotte.
 
The Lady Bears would finish the meet with 11 top-10 finishes.
 
Infinnatie Rowe got off to a great start, placing second in the 800 meter dash in a time of 2:12.19, while Valencia McDowell ran a time of 2:13.46 to place fourth.
 
Annastacia Barham put together two fourth-place finishes in the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes. Barham would run 11.95 seconds in the 100m and finished the 200m in a time of 24.53 seconds.
 
Dinedye Denis had a sixth-place finish in the 400 meter dash, crossing the line in a time of 56.94 seconds.
 
Kimani Davis and Daijah Davis-Hines recorded top-10 finishes in the 400 meter hurdles. Davis placed third with her time of 1:03.50, while Davis-Hines had a mark of 1:04.27 to place sixth.
 
Diamond Moore finished eighth in the 100 meter hurdles in a time of 14.87 seconds, while Miazziah Rose had a height of 1.63m to come in seventh in the high jump invite.
 
The Lady Bears' 4X400 meter relay team also opened the season on a high note, coming in second. The quartet of Dinedye Denis, Annastacia Barham, Infinnatie Rowe and Valencia McDowell would run a time of 3:41.15.
 
Morgan State's 4X100 meter relay team of Jon Glass, Anaya Monroe, Kevena Jones and Annastacia Barham finished in eighth in a time of 48.39.
