ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Feb. 25, 2017)-The Morgan State men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 non-conference decision to Navy on Saturday afternoon at the Tose Family Tennis Center.
 
The Midshipman improved to 10-6 on the season, while Morgan State fell to 1-7.
 
The Bears were led by junior Lucas Krusinski, who recorded the team's lone singles victory. Krusinski would earn a No. 5 singles win over Navy's Cameron Kirkpatrick 6-7 (4-7), 6-3, 1-0 (10-3).
 
Morgan State would also pick up the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots. Krusinski teamed up with Jeremy Field at No. 1 doubles and defeated the Midshipman' team of MattHew Lee and Andrey Majkic, 6-1. Arjun Ramakrishnan and Nihit Rawal were paired together at the No. 3 spot and defeated Krishna Jana and Joshua Martin, 6-2.
 
The Bears will travel to face Hofstra on Saturday, March 4 in Hempstead, New York.
