Arlington, Va. (Feb. 22, 2017)-The Morgan State women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 non-conference decision to Georgetown on Wednesday afternoon at the Arlington YMCA.

The Hoyas improved to 4-1 on the season, while Morgan State fell to 0-9.

The Lady Bears were led by junior
Kayla Price, who recorded the team's lone singles victory. Price would earn a No. 4 singles win over Georgetown's Sophia Barnard 7-6, 0-6, 10-7.

Morgan State would also pick up the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots. Price teamed up with
Katia Jordan at No. 1 doubles and defeated the Hoyas' team of Victoire Saperstein and Madeline Foley, 6-3.
Danielle Thompson and
Chloe Kabamba were paired together at the No. 3 spot and defeated Anna Short and Casey Marx, 6-2.

The Lady Bears will host Seton Hall on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 4:30 p.m. at the Greenspring Racquet Club in Lutherville, Md.
