George Washington Defeats Morgan State, 6-1

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Feb. 18, 2017)-The Morgan State women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 non-conference decision at George Washington on Saturday afternoon at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center.
 
The Colonials (4-3) began the day claiming the top two doubles matches played.
 
Morgan State (0-8) playing with just five players would end up defaulting at the No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles positions.
 
The Lady Bears' lone win came at No. 4 singles, when Chloe Kabamba defeated George Washington's Taylor Nederlander 6-4, 6-4.
 
Morgan State returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 22, when they travel to Washington, D.C. to visit Georgetown.
