LEWISBURG, Pa. (April 7, 2016)-The Morgan State women's tennis team dropped a 5-1 non-conference decision at Bucknell on Thursday evening.
The Lady Bears (5-9) lone win came from
Kayla Price, who earned a 7-5, 1-6, 10-7 victory over Bucknell's Lauren Fishbein at No. 3 singles. Bucknell would earn two victories by default at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
"We competed very hard, and just didn't capitalize on big points," said Morgan State head coach Matt Townes. "We continue to grow and learn, and we must finish strong."
Morgan State returns to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference action on Sunday, April 10, when it plays host to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore at 4 p.m. at the MSU Tennis Courts. The contest will mark Senior Day and will be the final home match for
