BALTIMORE, Md. (March 29, 2016)-The Morgan State softball team will have their home opener on Wednesday, March 30, when they host the Delaware Blue Hens in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. The two-game series will be held at Coppin State Field on the campus of Coppin State University.

The home opener comes two days after the Lady Bears original home opener against Brown was cancelled on Monday due to poor field conditions.  

Morgan State (5-18) will look to end a two-game losing skid, following back-to-back non-conference losses at Mount St. Mary's (3/24). With the losses, the Lady Bears have dropped five of their last six contests.

Delaware enters the contest with a 15-12 overall record and has lost five of its past seven contests, including two straight. The Blue Hens last played on Saturday, March 26 and dropped both games of a doubleheader to visiting College of Charleston to fall to 1-2 in Colonial Athletic Association play.
