BALTIMORE, Md. -- Already picked fifth to finish in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, the Bears were chosen ninth in the 2015 Boxtorow FCS HBCU Preseason football coaches' poll.
 
MSU head coach Lee Hull led the Bears to a 7-6 record last season and captured its first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship since 1979, and its first NCAA Division I Playoff berth.
 
The Bears enter the 2015 season with 65 returners and a league-best 10 preseason All-MEAC performers, including starting running back Herb Walker Jr., the school's single season rushing leader. 
  
The Bears are 29 days away from their season opener at Air Force, September 5^th. MSU's home-opener at Hughes Stadium will be on September 19 against Virginia-Lynchburg.
