GREENSBORO, N.C. – Morgan State men's 4x400-meter relay team captured gold in a season best time of 3:08.56, but it was Bethune-Cookman that ran away with the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship at Irwin Belk Stadium.
 
Morgan State scored 52 points to place seventh in team scoring, while Bethune-Cookman (139 points) won the title with 139 points with runner-up North Carolina A&T finishing with 138 points. Hampton finished in third with 93 points and Maryland Eastern-Shore placed fourth at 89.50.
 
Rounding out the top 10 teams were Howard (63.50), Florida A&M (55), Morgan State (52), South Carolina State (43), Savannah State (29) and North Carolina Central (14).
 
The Bears relay foursome of Rolando Reid, Joel Roberson, Onyx Johnson and Evan Johnson crossed the tape in front of Hampton (3:09.15) to win the title. 

Morgan State 4x100-meter foursome comprised of Nigel Thompson, Rolando Reid, Deyvon Howell, and Fonyi Agendia finished in third place with a season betime of 40.38. N.C. A&T claimed the title in 39.98.
 
Onyx Johnson dominated the 800-meter field by capturing first place with a season best 1:48.94. It was the fastest time recorded in the MEAC this season.
 
The 400-meter hurdles had Evan Johnson placing second with a season best time of 51.55 behind Florida A&M's Dennis Pugh (50.63).
 
Joel Roberson placed fifth in the 400m with a 47.53, while teammate Evan Johnson finished eighth with a 49.58.
 
A mark of 204-03 (62.26m placed Keith Andre Davis second in the javelin, and Rolando Reid posted a fourth place finish with a toss of 183-02 (55.84m).
