BALTIMORE, Md. (April 8, 2015)-The Morgan State women's tennis team got back on the winning track and ended their two-match losing skid, following two wins on Tuesday over Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) foes, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) and Delaware State.
 
The Lady Bears (5-13, 3-1 MEAC) defeated UMES, 6-0 and Delaware State, 5-0 at the MSU Tennis Courts to improve to 5-2 at home.
 
"Great performances today by our entire team," said Morgan State head coach Matt Townes. "We took care of business against two conference opponents, and we look to close the regular season well this weekend."
 
The Lady Bears will close out the 2015 home slate this Friday, April 10 with a non-conference match against Saint Francis-Pa. for Senior Day. First serve is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the MSU Tennis Courts. Morgan State's lone senior Jasmine Edwards, who will be playing her final home matche of her career, will be honored prior to the match.
