CAYCE, S.C. (April 16, 2015)-The 2015 women's tennis season came to an end for the Morgan State Lady Bears, as they dropped a rain-delayed 4-1 decision to Florida A&M Lady Rattlers in the opening round of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship on Thursday morning at the Cayce Tennis & Fitness Center.

Morgan State, who entered the match as the No. 2 seed out of the MEAC Northern Division, finished the season with a 6-15 overall record. Florida A&M (8-12), which completed a four-match sweep by the MEAC Southern Division with the win, advances to the semifinals on Friday where it will face rival and top-seeded Bethune-Cookman.

The Lady Rattlers earned singles wins at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 while clinching the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles point.
