RICHMOND, Va. (Jan. 24, 2015)-The Morgan State women's tennis team dropped both of its matches on Saturday at the VCU 4-1 Invitational hosted by Virginia Commonwealth University.

The Lady Bears (0-4), who were seeing their first action of the invitational on Day 2 of the event, first dropped a 4-1 loss to Campbell.
Danielle Thompson recorded a No. 3 singles victory over Maud Mrad of Campbell in three sets for the only win of the match for Morgan State.

Later in the evening the Lady Bears dropped a hard fought 3-2 decision to Temple.

Morgan State dropped the first singles match, but Thompson and Price both earned wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively. The Owls were then awarded default victories at both the No. 4 singles and the lone doubles match for the win.

The Lady Bears conclude the VCU 4-1 Invitational on Sunday, Jan. 25, when they take on host VCU at 9 a.m.
