BALTIMORE, Md. (Nov. 24, 2014)-Morgan State will complete its mini two-game swing against Big 12 Conference foes, when they travel to Stillwater, Okla. to take on No. 20 (AP Poll) Oklahoma State on Tuesday, Nov. 25. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT at Gallagher-Iba Arena. This will be the second meeting between the two programs with Oklahoma State holding a 1-0 series lead. Oklahoma State is coming off a 77-36 win over Missouri State on Saturday.

BEAR CLAWS: The Lady Bears (2-3) dropped a tough 65-57 decision on the road on Sunday at Texas Tech, which snapped its two-game winning streak.
Tracey Carrington scored a game-high 27 points, while
Braennan Farrar added 10 points and
Zuri White pulled down a career– and game-high 11 rebounds. Morgan State has been paced by Carrington, who is averaging 21.6 points per outing, leads the team in steals with 13, and ranks second on the team in assists (12) and rebounds with 5.6 per game.
Ivy Harrington, who is shooting 61 percent from the floor, is averaging 9.2 points per contest, while White leads the team in rebounding with six per game. Farrar (7.2 points) leads Morgan State in assists with 16.

A LOOK AT OKLAHOMA STATE: The Cowgirls (3-1), who are ranked 20th in the AP Poll and 19th in the USA Today Coaches Poll, rebounded from a 79-77 loss at No. 11 North Carolina (11/19), by handing visiting Missouri State a 77-36 loss last Saturday. Brittany Atkins scored 20 points, while Roshunda Johnson had a double-double with 12 points and 12 assists in the win for Oklahoma State. LaShawn Jones added 13 points and seven boards. It was the 35th straight home win over non-conference opponents for the Cowgirls. The last non-conference home loss for Oklahoma State came against Duke in 2010. Brittney Martin is averaging 19.7 points per game to lead five Cowgirls in double figures scoring. Atkins is scoring 17.5 points per game and Liz Donohoe is averaging 13.5 points. Johnson is totaling 12.8 points and leads the squad in assists (31) and steals (15), while Jones is averaging a double-double with 11.5 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Martin is second on the team in rebounding with 6.3 per contest. Â

MSU VS. OKLAHOMA STATE SERIES NOTES: This will be the second meeting between the two teams, with the Cowgirls holding a 1-0 series lead. Oklahoma State defeated Morgan State, 85-58 at the LaSalle Tournament (12/27/87).

TRACKING CARRINGTON: Tracey Carrington entered the season with 1,137 career points, which ranked ninth all-time at Morgan State. Carrington, who ranks seventh at Morgan State, scored a game-high 27 points at Texas Tech (11/23), giving her 2,045 points for her career. She is now 43 point shy of passing former Lady Bear Whitney Cunningham (1,287 points from 2004-07) for sixth-place. She now needs 329 more points to move into second all-time in scoring at Morgan State.

BEASLEY FOUR WINS SHY OF SCHOOL RECORD: Morgan State head coach
Donald Beasley, who is in his 10th year at the helm of the Lady Bears, entered the 2014-15 season needing six victories to become the program's all-time coaching leader. Beasley, who currently ranks second on the school's all-time list with a mark of 119-158, earned his second win of the season against Washington Adventists (11/20) and is now four wins shy of setting the record. LaRue Fields (122-60 from 1979-85) is the school's all-time leader.

PROVIDING ASSISTANCE: Freshman
Braennan Farrar dished out a game- and season-high nine assists in the win over Wesley (11/18). As a team the Lady Bears recorded 19 assists in the game. Farrar leads Morgan State in assists with 16 through the first five games.

HARRINGTON SETS SCHOOL RECORD FOR SHOTS MADE: Ivy Harrington connected on her first four shots in the win over Wesley (11/18), to set the school record for consecutive baskets made (two or more attempts per game) at 14 straight. She began the streak in the opener against Georgia (11/14) when she scored on her final attempt of the game, then shot a perfect 9-for-9 from the floor at Georgia Tech (11/16). Her streak came to an end at the 6:07 mark of the first half against Wesley, when she missed on her fifth attempt, a jumper from the right side.

MAKE IT A DOUBLE: Freshman
Lexus Spears recorded the first double-double of her young career when she totaled a 13 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds, both of which are season-bests in the win against Wesley (11/18).

WILLIAMS NAMED MEAC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK: Freshman
Tykyrah Williams was named MEAC Rookie of the Week by the league office on Monday. A native of Durham, N.C., Williams scored a season-best thus far 13 points on the road at Georgia Tech (11/16). Williams also added a team-high five rebounds three assists and a team-high three steals against the Yellow Jackets.

HARRINGTON SETS CAREER-HIGH AT GEORGIA TECH: Morgan State sophomore
Ivy Harrington finished a perfect 9-for-9 from the floor and scored a career-high 20 points at Georgia Tech (11/16/14). The nine field goals was also a career-best. Harrington also added four rebounds.
