Lady Bears Announce MEAC Women’s Basketball Schedule

BALTIMORE, Md. (Sept. 3, 2026)--The Morgan State women's basketball team has announced its upcoming 14-game Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) slate for the 2026-27 season. The always challenging MEAC schedule consists of seven home-and-away matchups against league opposition.
 
The Lady Bears will kick off the New Year and the conference slate at home, when they welcome Maryland Eastern Shore to Hill Field House on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2027. Morgan State will be on the road for its next two contests, as it will travel to Durham, N.C. to face North Carolina Central on Thursday, Jan. 7, before heading to Orangeburg, S.C. to visit South Carolina State on Saturday, Jan. 9.
 
Following its annual trip to the Carolina's, Morgan State will return home to the friendly confides of Hill Field House for four consecutive games on its homecourt. The Orange and Blue will host Delaware State on Saturday, Jan. 16 and Norfolk State on Thursday, Jan. 21.
 
The Lady Bears will conclude the homestand with back-to-back Saturday contests against their rivals. Morgan State will take on defending MEAC champion and Beltway rival Howard on Saturday, Jan. 23 and will face crosstown rival Coppin State on Saturday, Jan. 30 to wrap up the first half of the league schedule.
 
The second half of the conference schedule gets underway on Saturday, Feb. 6, when the Lady Bears travel to Princess Anne, Md., to face Maryland Eastern Shore at 1 p.m. Morgan State then returns home for its final two games of the season at Hill Field House. On Thursday, Feb. 11, the Lady Bears host North Carolina Central and wrap up the home schedule on Saturday, Feb. 13 against South Carolina State.
 
The Lady Bears hit the road for their final four games of the regular season. Morgan State will visit Delaware State on Saturday Feb. 20 in Dover, Del., before traveling to Virginia's Tidewater area to face Norfolk State in Norfolk, Va. on Thursday, Feb. 25.
 
Following a stop in the Nation's Capital on Saturday, Feb. 27 to take on Howard in Washington, D.C., Morgan State will close out the regular season on the road against Coppin State in the annual "East vs. West" finale at 5:30 p.m.
 
The 2027 MEAC Tournament will take place Wednesday-Saturday, March 10-13 at the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Va.
