Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m. CT at United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock, Texas. This will be the Lady Bears' first meeting against Texas Tech.

BEAR CLAWS: The Lady Bears (2-2) concluded their mini two-game homestand with a 66-44 non-conference victory over Washington Adventist on Thursday, Nov. 20. Morgan State was led by
Tracey Carrington, who scored a game-high 21 points and added a team-high nine rebounds. Carrington would move into seventh-place in scoring at Morgan State with 1,218 career points.
Braennan Farrar scored 13 points, while adding five steals and three assists, both game highs.
Tykyrah Williams contributed 10 points, seven rebounds and three steals in the win. The Lady Bears forced a season-high 40 turnovers against Washington Adventist, 24 of which were steals.

A LOOK AT TEXAS TECH: Texas Tech (3-0) enters the contest undefeated, following a 57-54 victory over Arizona (11/21). It is the first 3-0 start for the Lady Raiders since the 2011-12 season. Ivonne CookTaylor came off the bench to score a team-high 13 points for Texas Tech, while Dayo Oladode added 11 points. Kelsi Baker recorded a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Jocelyn Mousty also came off the bench to score 10 points.

MSU VS. TEXAS TECH SERIES NOTES: This will be the first meeting between the two teams.

LADY BEARS VS. THE BIG 12: Morgan State enters its contest with Texas Tech 1-3 all-time against the Big 12 Conference. Here's how the Lady Bears have done against members of the Big 12: Kansas (0-2), Oklahoma State (0-1), West Virginia (1-0). Morgan State has never faced Baylor, Kansas State, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Christian and Texas Tech.

TRACKING CARRINGTON: Tracey Carrington entered the season with 1,137 career points, which ranked ninth all-time at Morgan State. On Wednesday Carrington scored a game-high 21 points against Washington Adventist, giving her 2,018 points for her career to pass former Lady Bear Debbie Grey (1,215 points from 1985-90) for seventh-place. She now needs 356 more points to move into second all-time in scoring at Morgan State.

PROVIDING ASSISTANCE: Freshman
Braennan Farrar dished out a game- and season-high nine assists in the win over Wesley (11/18). As a team the Lady Bears recorded 19 assists in the game. Farrar leads Morgan State in assists with 12 assists over the first three games.

HARRINGTON SETS SCHOOL RECORD FOR SHOTS MADE: Ivy Harrington connected on her first four shots in Tuesday's win over Wesley, to set the school record for consecutive baskets made (two or more attempts per game) at 14 straight. She began the streak in the opener against Georgia (11/14) when she scored on her final attempt of the game, then shot a perfect 9-for-9 from the floor at Georgia Tech (11/16). Her streak came to an end at the 6:07 mark of the first half against Wesley, when she missed on her fifth attempt, a jumper from the right side.

MAKE IT A DOUBLE: Freshman
Lexus Spears recorded the first double-double of her young career when she totaled a 13 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds, both of which are season-bests.

WILLIAMS NAMED MEAC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK: Freshman
Tykyrah Williams was named MEAC Rookie of the Week by the league office on Monday. A native of Durham, N.C., Williams scored a season-best thus far 13 points on the road at Georgia Tech (11/16). Williams also added a team-high five rebounds three assists and a team-high three steals against the Yellow Jackets.

HARRINGTON SETS CAREER-HIGH AT GEORGIA TECH: Morgan State sophomore
Ivy Harrington finished a perfect 9-for-9 from the floor and scored a career-high 20 points at Georgia Tech (11/16/14). The nine field goals was also a career-best. Harrington also added four rebounds.

WELCOME TO "THE A": The Lady Bears made just their second trip to Atlanta in ten years under head coach
Donald Beasley when they square off against the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets on Sunday, Nov. 16. It will also be the Lady Bears' first trip back to the city also known as Hotlanta and The Big Peach since the 2009-10 season when Morgan State participated in the Georgia State Tournament. This will be the first meeting between Morgan State and Georgia Tech.

LADY BEARS TAKE IN NBA GAME: Before heading over to Athens, Ga., for its season-opener against the University of Georgia, the Morgan State women's basketball team spent the first night of their five-day road trip in Atlanta and attended the Atlanta Hawks-Utah Jazz game on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at Phillips Arena. The home team Hawks would hold on for a 100-97 victory.

BEASLEY FOUR WINS SHY OF SCHOOL RECORD: Morgan State head coach
Donald Beasley, who is in his 10th year at the helm of the Lady Bears, entered the 2014-15 season needing six victories to become the program's all-time coaching leader. Beasley, who currently ranks second on the school's all-time list with a mark of 119-157, earned his second win of the season against Washington Adventists (11/20) and is now four wins shy of setting the record. LaRue Fields (122-60 from 1979-85) is the school's all-time leader.
