OPENING KICKOFF
Morgan State (0-1) will head to Ohio to take on Bowl Championship Series (BCS) opponent Bowling Green State (1-0). The game will mark the first meeting in history between the teams and is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 10 at Doyt Perry Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and there will also be a live radio broadcast of the game on WEAA, 88.9 FM.
MSU VS. THE MAC
• The Bears have posted a 1-2 record against Mid-American Conference (MAC) schools. Morgan State fell to Akron 41-0 in 2009, and split with Buffalo -- winning 45-27 in 1992 and losing in 1992 by a score of 35-17.
ROAD OPENERS
• The Bears last road-opener victory was during a 29-0 win against Cheney on Aug. 8, 1996 under coach Ricky Diggs.
QUICK HITS
• Against Towson, junior quarterback Donovan Dickerson completed 6-of-10 passes for 40 yards and an interception before leaving in the 3rd quarter with back spasms.
• R-Freshman QB Robert Council completed 4-of-10 passes for 72 yards, including a 44 yarder, in his first action of the season.
• The Bears posted 271 kickoff return yards (38.7 avg), while the offense was limited to 160 yards (3.3 avg).
• MSU was outgained by Towson on the ground by a 264-48 margin ... Senior RB Jourdan Brooks was limited to 48 yards on 15 carries (3.2 avg).
• MSU senior defensive tackle Justin Young and junior linebacker Allen Stephens posted 10 tackles each agianst Towson.
• After Saturday's contest the Bears will host the Robert Morris Colonials for the home-opener ... Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. on September 17th at Hughes Stadium in Baltimore.

Redshirt-junior Tyrone Hendrix returns as a valuable deep threat in the Bears' passing attack ... The redshirt-junior wideout ranked No. 2 in the MEAC in kickoff returns (23.1 avg) last season ... The Tarpon Springs, Florida native leads the FCS with 140 yards all-purpose yards against Towson, including an 85-yard kickoff return to open the game.
