2009 (Sophomore): Totaled a team-leading and personal season-best 324 digs, while adding four kills and 19 assists, both season-bests…Also added eight service aces, while playing in 92 games…Ranked third in the MEAC in digs with 3.52 digs per set…Reached double figures in digs 16 times…Recorded 17 digs, one assist and a service ace in a MEAC Tournament opening round loss to Bethune-Cookman (11/20)…Tallied a season-high 31 digs and added two service aces at Howard (10/30)…Totaled 22 digs against Coppin State (10/16)…Tied a career-high three assists and was limited to six digs against Maryland (9/5) in the finale of the Battle of Baltimore…Finished with 24 digs to help the Lady Bears to a home opening win against Lehigh (9/2).

2008 (Freshman): Played in 88 games, leading the team in digs (261), while totaling two kills, 13 assists and ranked third in service aces with 17…Finished with 17 digs, two aces and an assist in the home finale loss against Hampton (11/2), marking the first-time the Lady Bears failed to reach the MEAC postseason tournament…Had 19 digs, an ace and an assist at Delaware State (10/31)…Recorded a season-high 32 digs and added two aces in a 1-3 loss at Hampton (10/17), Morgan’s first-ever loss to the Lady Pirates…Was named to the East Carolina Invitational All-Tournament team (9/20)…Notched 12 digs, a kill and an assist against Brown (9/12) at the Georgetown Classic…Tallied a season-high five aces against Saint Francis-N.Y. (9/12) during the Georgetown Classic, to help the Lady Bears to their first win of the season…Made her Morgan debut in the season-opener against Rhode Island (8/29) during the Quinnipiac Invitational and totaled a kill for a season-high hitting percentage of 1.000 and added seven digs.

High School: Was a three-year letterwinner in volleyball and lettered in basketball for the Chargers while at St. Joseph High…Earned the team’s MVP and coaches award…Was named to the Suburban Life All-Area team…Totaled 168 kills, 158 digs and 35 aces…Coached by Faith Rodriquez…An honor roll student…Was a member of the student council, peer jury, cultural awareness and the senior committee...Sang the National Anthem at her school prior to volleyball matches and before the boy’s basketball games.

Personal: Born February 20, 1990, in Chicago, Ill….Daughter of Ronald Beamon and Nadine Beamon-Love…Major is English with a minor in pre-law…Career ambition is to become a lawyer and open up her own law firm…Hobbies include reading and singing…Volunteers her time at soup kitchens and working with younger volleyball players.
