Henry Yip enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Morgan State volleyball program.

Yip has experience across all levels of NCAA, after a background of coaching club and high school volleyball. Yip has spent time as an assistant coach on the collegiate level with Radford, North Dakota, Merrimack, Harvard, Frostburg State, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Yip was the serve receive and defensive coordinator with Radford volleyball, working primarily with passers and liberos. Radford went from one of the bottom passing teams in conference to top half of conference in the 2025 season. Other accolades include Olivia Ryno being selected to the Big South All-Freshman Team, and Miranda Howard being selected to the Big South All-Tournament Team.

At North Dakota, Yip was the technical coordinator. He built scouting reports and practice statistics using DataVolley.

With Merrimack, he helped three Warriors earn Second-Team All-NEC awards with libero Kyle Standage, middle blocker Matthew Motes, and outside hitter Logan Whitaker.

While at Harvard, Yip was the offensive coordinator and worked heavily with the setters. The Crimson won 15 matches and earned a berth to the Ivy League Tournament.
 
With Yip, setter/hitter Ashley Wang received First-Team All-Ivy League honors. Outside hitter Katie Vorhies and middle blocker Ryleigh Patterson earned All-Second Team recognition.

Yip is a 2019 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.
